Writer Resource: Hands-On English

Did you love grammar as much as I did in school ?

I wish Mrs. Radamacher, my seventh-grade grammar teacher, could have used this book. The author, Fran Hamilton, is one of my consulting clients and she has done an amazing job of simplifying a lot of the English rules that I struggled with in 7th grade.

Check out her web site at GrammarandMore.com to find out more about her products and free newsletters.

Happy writing!

Writer Resource: Become a Well-Fed Freelance Copywriter

Have you ever thought about ways to expand your business? Maybe even expand into a new area like freelance commercial writing?

Several years ago, I went to Peter Bowerman's excellent course on how to become a freelance writer for businesses. He took us through the nuts and bolts of commercial writing and showed how he was able to build his business with no experience! Now he is teaming up with my favorite copywriter, Lorrie Morgan-Ferraro, to explain the inside story on how the two of them have built their businesses from scratch.

Lorrie's story is also amazing. She was a single mom with two kids when she quit her job to become a freelance copywriter. I absolutely love her stuff, and she is my favorite copywriter because her style is so direct and persuasive.

On Wednesday night, they are offering a 90-minute telephone class on how they did it including downloadable MP3s and the transcription. The best part is the price! Remember how I paid nearly $200? Wait 'til you see how little they are charging.....
