Are you ready to write your book?

Sheesh, where did the month of April go?
Have you ever thought about ways to expand your business? Maybe even expand into a new area like freelance commercial writing?
Several years ago, I went to Peter Bowerman's excellent course on how to become a freelance writer for businesses. He took us through the nuts and bolts of commercial writing and showed how he was able to build his business with no experience! Now he is teaming up with my favorite copywriter, Lorrie Morgan-Ferraro, to explain the inside story on how the two of them have built their businesses from scratch.
Lorrie's story is also amazing. She was a single mom with two kids when she quit her job to become a freelance copywriter. I absolutely love her stuff, and she is my favorite copywriter because her style is so direct and persuasive.
On Wednesday night, they are offering a 90-minute telephone class on how they did it including downloadable MP3s and the transcription. The best part is the price! Remember how I paid nearly $200? Wait 'til you see how little they are charging.....
Today's Writer Resource is RefDesk.com, a one-stop shop for some of the best links on the net. Be sure to go to the bottom for the reference resources section with the journalist's tools, research links and facts searches.
I'm so glad you've joined us. I'm Julie Hood from OrganizedWriter.com and the purpose of this blog is to share some of my favorite writer's resources (with a little dose of writerly motivation thrown in along the way).
